Reuben And The Dark rolls on with the deluxe expanded edition of the band's stunning 2014 debut record Funeral Sky. Lead by singer-songwriter and frontman Reuben Bullock, the Calgary band first turned heads with the dark anthemic folk of "Rolling Stone", the cathartic gospel of "Devil's Time", and the lush and elegiac single "Bow And Arrow". The band's enchanting live performances earned accolades from audiences far and wide, and illustrated Reuben And The Dark's penchant for dynamics from stark lo-fi to rich atmospherics. Funeral Sky Deluxe crystallizes this further, incorporating new studio recordings of live staples "Winter's Widow" and "The Rain", "Red River" – Reuben's ode to missing Aboriginal people in Canada's West (in collaboration with Charles Spearin) – and alternate takes "Standing Still", "Marionette", and "Bow And Arrow" from the original Funeral Sky collection. Exclusive to GalleryAC, fans of Reuben And The Dark can purchase the new material as a standalone EP. Funeral Sky was produced by Stephen Kozmeniuk (Madonna, Nicki Minaj, The Game feat. Kanye West) and Christopher Lloyd Hayden (of Florence & The Machine, and mixed by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys).
